Elizabeth "Libby" Edmond, 71, Valparaiso, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 7:46 pm in Franciscan Health - Michigan City, Michigan City, Indiana.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 pm -5:00 pm, Sunday, July 26, 2026, in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana. Private family burial will take place in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens, Michigan City, Indiana.
She was born June 1, 1955, in Michigan City, Indiana, to the late Wayne and Helen (Brewer) Fulford. She was united in marriage to Donald J. Edmond on October 17, 1987, in Michigan City, Indiana, who survives in Valparaiso, Indiana. Also surviving are daughter, Taylor (Steven) Burkholder of Valparaiso, Indiana; two sons, Drake (Jessica) Edmond of Winter Garden, Florida, and Jordan Brenneman of Michigan City, Indiana; two grandsons, Simon Burkholder, and Dylan Burkholder both of Valparaiso, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Amy an Patricia.
Libby was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. She loved serving her church and community. She was especially proud of her grandsons. Libby was employed by Sullair Corporation for 16 years and the Michigan City Area Schools for 16 years.
