Butch Allen Maglio, 36, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026.

 

He was born on October 20, 1989, in La Porte, Indiana, to the late John Maglio and Donna (Perkins) Maglio, who survives in La Porte.

 

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Alex Churchill; his beloved children, Ace Maglio of La Porte, Emily Maglio of La Porte, Michael Maglio of La Porte, Lilly Maglio of Rolling Prairie, Levi Maglio of Rolling Prairie, Sophia Maglio of La Porte, and Mylez Maglio, of La Porte; his mother, Donna Maglio of La Porte; his sister, Kelly (Tony) Holman of Georgia; his brother, Johnny (Genny) Maglio of La Porte; and his cherished niece, Lana Williams.

 

Butch was employed at Aero Metals, Inc. in La Porte. He was a devoted father, son, brother, and friend who always put the needs of others before his own, making sure those around him were cared for. He found great joy in spending time with family and friends, whether he was fishing, playing video games, listening to music, or working on cars with the boys.

His generous heart, kind spirit, and willingness to lend a helping hand will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

 

Cremation has taken place with Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in La Porte.
