Mary “Pee Wee” Helen McMullen, 64, of Michigan City, passed away at 8:03 p.m., Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.
She was born November 7, 1961, in Michigan City, to Junior and Marjorie (Eilers) Vinson.
On August 17, 1984, in Michigan City, she married John McMullen who preceded her in death.
Mary enjoyed painting and watching paranormal TV shows, and listening to music. Above all she loved her grandchildren and being a grandma.
She is survived by her children, Joe (Mercedes) McMullen, Kristine (Chad) McMullen; siblings, Cathy (Rodney) Kearney, Brian Vinson, Mark Vinson, and June (Ray) Cassidy; grandchildren, Madalynn, Envy, and Ophelia; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband John; a sister, Cindy; and nephew, Jeffrey.
Cremation will take place. Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte, (219) 362-3100.
A celebration of life ceremony will take place at a later date.
