Private family services will be conducted. Entombment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN, is handling arrangements.
He was born April 11, 1940, in La Porte, IN, to the late Julius and Gertrude Cole) Jensen.
Surviving are his son, Brian (Kerrie) Jensen of Noblesville, IN; step-daughter, Christina Jensen of Michigan City, IN; two step-sons, Barry (Diane) Pratt of Indianapolis, IN, and Michael (Penny) Jensen-Pratt of Millington, TN; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Dannie retired after 30 years as an educator for the Michigan City Area Schools. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was an avid golfer.
