Keegan Fayzon Roberts, 13, of Michigan City, IN, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

He was born on September 4, 2012, in La Porte, IN, to Dakoda D. Roberts and Samantha J. (Henry) Roberts.

Keegan is survived by his parents; sister, Makenzie Roberts of Michigan City; brothers, Dylan and Xavier Roberts of Michigan City; grandparents, Angela (John) White of Michigan City, Betty Dukes of Michigan City, Nathan Roberts of SD, and James (Debbie) Henry of Michigan City; aunts, Natrina (Mike) Anderson of Michigan City, Amelia (Martin) Rebac of Michigan City, and Tonya (Joe) Heller of TN; uncles, Brandon (Brooke) Henry of Michigan City, Nathan Roberts of CO, Jack Davis of La Porte, and Joseph Roberts of Michigan City; as well as many friends and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Larron Roberts and great-grandparents, Ronald (Annie) Wilke and Daisy Dukes.

Keegan was a student at Krueger Middle School, where he played on the basketball team and had just completed his eighth grade year. He enjoyed video games and loved watching basketball, with the Lakers being his favorite team. Most importantly, Keegan loved time hanging out with his friends and family.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Cremation will take place following the service.

Keegan's family asks that those attending, please wear their favorite Lakers jerseys and/or wear purple and gold.
