Diane Marie Knowlton, October 23, 1953 – June 19, 2026.

 

Diane Marie Knowlton, 72, of Union Mills, passed away peacefully at 11:12 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2026, at home.

 

She was born October 23, 1953, in La Porte, to Joseph Zurek Sr. and Carma (Coursel) Enright.

 

On March 29, 1994, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, she married Larry Knowlton who preceded her in death.

 

Diane is survived by her daughter, Shelley Regan; siblings, Beth (Alan) Gernenz, Ron (Julie) Zurek, and Brian Zurek; step-sisters, April (Mark) Dillingham and Michelle (Roger) Hatch; grandchildren, Joshua Regan, Christian (Hailey) and Alexus Passmore; special nephews, Kevin (Sarah) Zurek and Kyle Gernenz; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry; brothers, Joseph Jr., and Rick Zurek; and a sister-in-law, Deborah Zurek.

 

Cremation will take place. Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte (219) 362-3100 is caring for the arrangements.
