Vicky Sue Dyel, June 20, 1964 – June 16, 2026
Vicky Sue Dyel, 61, of Westville, passed away peacefully at home on June 16, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on June 20, 1964, in Valparaiso, Indiana, Vicky was the daughter of Bonnie (Kuehl) Fox.
Vicky found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved music of all kinds, spending hours playing word games like Scrabble and Boggle, and traveling to places that brought her happiness, especially Las Vegas and her beloved New Hampshire.
More than anything, she treasured time spent with those she loved. Whether it was gathering with family, spoiling her grandchildren and granddogs, or enjoying one of Rick's homemade pasta dinners, those moments meant the world to her.
On August 12, 2007, she married the love of her life, Richard Dyel, who survives. His unwavering love and devotion never wavered, and he remained faithfully by her side through every challenge and every triumph.
Also surviving are her daughters, Ashley Mains, Tiffany Letson, and Stephany Leonard; her sisters, Lori Dittrich and Suzi Sullins; her brother, Thomas Fox; and her cherished grandchildren, Isabelle and Kaden Letson, and Addison and Logan Meredith.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Fox.
Vicky will be remembered for her love of music, her adventurous spirit, her quick wit, and the deep love she had for her family. Though she will be greatly missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Cremation will take place. Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte, is caring for the arrangements.
