Daniel Glen Shoffner, November 13, 1966 – May 17, 2026

Daniel Glen Shoffner, 59, of South Bend, passed away May 17, 2026, in Plainfield, Indiana.

He was born on November 13, 1966, in La Porte, to Glen Shoffner and Diane Faye (Miller) Wireman.

Daniel had a love of music, whether it was downloading, listening, or singing. He was a truck driver who went cross-country for like all his life. He was a great dad, best friend, and pawpaw. He was a strong, forever-loving dad who tried hard for his girls and never gave up on them. He was a great and fun person to be around to socialize and have a few drinks with.

He is survived by his father, Glen; children, Amber (Billy) Hoggett, and Angel (Austin Wiskotoni) Shoffner; several brothers and sisters; grandchildren, Jayden, Alayna, Kayden, Brantley, and Addilynn; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane, and a grandson, Jacob Daniel Hoggett.

A visitation and viewing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2026, at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Road, La Porte, (219) 362-3100.
