Connie Jean Moore, 82, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. She was born on September 25, 1943, in Hammond, Indiana, to the late Joseph and Mable (Drummond) Kirker.

Connie was a lifelong antique dealer who took great pride in her work, including many years spent with a booth at Coachman Antiques.

On September 1, 1962, Connie married Richard Moore, who preceded her in death on August 12, 2006.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Heidi (Mark) Jankowski of La Porte, Shari (Mark) Kabacinski of La Porte, and Richard “Rex” Moore of La Porte; her grandchildren, Michael, Rachel, Kyle, Zachary, Zane, Mark, and Jacob; three great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Valerie DePompeo of Middlebury, Indiana, Joseph Kirker of Florida, and Edward Kirker of Tennessee.

Visitation will be held from 4:00–7:00 PM on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 13, 2026, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to La Porte County Animal Control & The Jane Bernard Animal Adoption Center, 2855 IN-2, La Porte, Indiana.
