Mary Grace Morgan, May 12, 1948 – April 3, 2026.

Mary Grace Morgan, 77, of La Porte, passed away at 11:15 p.m., Friday, April 3, 2026, at Northwest Health, La Porte.

She was born May 12, 1948, in La Porte, to Orie and Edith (Hartnett) Thorp.

Mary loved and thought the world of her grandsons, James and Max.

She is survived by her son, John Morgan, and grandsons, James and Max Morgan.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, son, William Morgan, and brothers, James and John Thorp.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 10, 2026, at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd. (219) 362-3100 with Pastor Joseph Watterson officiating. Visitation and viewing will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Pine Lake Cemetery, La Porte.
