Larry J. Wireman, March 14, 1948 – April 2, 2026.

Larry J. Wireman, 78, of La Porte, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at home.

He was born March 14, 1948, in Rensselaer, to Hansel and Parrott (Miller) Wireman.

Larry loved nature and enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and fishing. Family and friends could always rely on Larry for help with the projects they were working on. He will be dearly missed.

Larry is survived by his son, Travis (Tinisha) Wireman, and two grandchildren, Gavin and Rayden Wireman.

He was preceded in death by two siblings, Anna Faye Tolson and Ray Wireman, and one granddaughter, Devin Wireman.

Cremation will take place. Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd. (219) 362-3100 is caring for the arrangements.
