He was born on May 8, 2002, in Monticello, Indiana, to his caring mother, Melissa Williams, and biological father Christopher Thomas.
Surviving are his sister, Maria Williams of Michigan City, Indiana; brother, Jonathan Winski of Michigan City, Indiana; and grandfather, James Williams of LaPorte, Indiana; special aunt and uncle, John and Renee Cooper of Westville, Indiana; grandmother, Sandra Salgado Rojas of Florida; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Jerilynn Williams.
Anthony came into this world with more battles to fight than many may even begin to understand. Each of those battles was fought with Anthony’s devoted mother and siblings by his side. Melissa’s love for Anthony gave him the power to become the radiant young man he was. In turn, Anthony was the source of Melissa’s resilience and strength.
Although Anthony was born with many challenges, he had a joyful spirit and an infectious laugh. He will be fondly remembered for his playful antics. Anthony enjoyed watching movies, listening to music, and going for walks with his family and friends. He was a stickler for detail. Anthony would insist that those around him ensure no crumb or hair was out of place.
Anthony had a natural presence that could command a room and bring people together. Some of his happiest moments were simply spent being with his family, especially his siblings. Anthony was a constant light in the lives of those who loved him, showing them that joy has no limitations.
