Charles A. "Woody" Harrison, 87, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 4:15 pm in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.
Private family services will be conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN, is handling arrangements.
He was born on November 20, 1938, in Stoutsville, OH, to the late Charles W. and Gladys (Koch) Harrison. On January 6, 1961, in Circleville, OH, he married Sandra Callihan, who survives in Michigan City, IN.
Also surviving are two daughters, Susan (Jennifer) Harrison and Rebecca (David) Dipert, both of Michigan City, IN; son, James Harrison of Michigan City, IN; one bonus daughter, Tracy Harshman of Michigan City, IN; six grandchildren, Nicole (Jake) Warrens, Mackenzie Harrison, Cailyn Harrison, Kylie Harrison, John Dipert, and Delani Dipert; three great-grandchildren, Elena Malott, Anastasia Warrens and Kalista Warrens; and two sisters, Charlene (David) Blue of Circleville, OH and Carolyne (Willard) Peters of Lutz, FL.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Marjorie Curry, and brother, Robert Harrison, and two grandchildren, Bradley Harrison and Lauren Dipert-Malott.
Woody retired as the shipping and receiving supervisor at Michigan City Chrysler. He was a long-time member of Countryside Christian Church. He enjoyed gardening, reading, and watching sports. Woody was an avid Ohio State Buckeye Fan.  His love, kindness, and strength shaped his beautiful family.  He was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa, and neighbor.
