Sally L. Sprong, September 23, 1946 - February 22, 2026.
Sally L. Sprong, 79, of Lafayette, Indiana, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 12:25 a.m. at Franciscan Health-Lafayette in Lafayette, Indiana.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana 46360.
She was born on September 23, 1946, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Bronco and Doris Samarich.
Surviving are two sons, Brian (Julie) Litherland of Trail Creek, Indiana, and Raymond (Christine Caddo) Sprong of Michigan City, Indiana; one daughter, Kimberly Fontana of Lafayette, Indiana; ten grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bronco Samarich; her mother, Doris Samarich; two brothers, Jon Samarich and Millard Samarich; two sisters, Judith Dedinato and Mitzi Rickhoff; a sister-in-law, Cheryl Samarich; and a grandson, Jacob Litherland.
Sally was a very hard worker who often held multiple jobs to support and raise her children. She retired from Marsh Pharmacy in Lafayette, Indiana. One of Sally’s favorite things to do was go to the beach and soak up the sun’s rays. She also enjoyed reading and, most of all, spending time with her family.
