Grace I. Romine, 79, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 4:09 am at Franciscan Health - Michigan City, IN. 
Private family services will be conducted. Burial will take place in Fletcher Cemetery, Hamlet, IN. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN, is handling arrangements.
She was born July 28, 1946, in Watertown, WI, to the late Herb and Ora (Nass) Kuehl. On November 23, 1968, in Michigan City, IN, she married Roy Romine who survives in Michigan City, IN.  Also surviving are her daughter, Laura (Jason) Steele of Michigan City, IN; son, Mark Romine of La Porte, IN; two grandchildren, Luke and Finley Romine, both of La Porte, IN; and two brothers, Donald (Lisa) Kuehl of Watertown, WI, and Stanley Kuehl of Oconomowoc, WI.
Grace retired as an educator at St. Paul Lutheran School. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Michigan City, IN, and St. Paul's Faith Circle. Grace loved animals and enjoyed reading, walking and embroidering.
