Russell  Caddo, Sr., 79, Three Rivers, Michigan, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 8:20 am in La Porte, IN.
Private family services will be conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN, is handling arrangements.
He was born September 19, 1946, in Michigan City, IN, the seventh son of the late James and Vivian (Hulet ) Caddo.
Surviving are his wife, Jacqueline Caddo of Three Rivers, MI; son Russell (Coleena) Caddo, Jr. of Michigan City, IN; two grandchildren, Alex (Brittany) Caddo and Kyle Caddo; great-grandchild, Clara; sister, Myrna Shriner of La Porte, IN; and his brother, Loren (Lauren) Caddo of Michigan City, IN.
He was also preceded in death by his son Matthew; two sisters, Margie Barkdull and Sandra Tamlin; and five brothers, Norman Caddo, Eugene Caddo, James Caddo, Jr., Darwin Caddo and Vernon Caddo.
Russell had worked as a lineman at NIPSCO and also as a union carpenter. He had served in the U.S. Army Reserves and played in bands with his brother Loren. Russell also enjoyed making games on the computer as well as recording songs, playing all the various instruments on 10 separate tracks.
