Jon E. Roth, 82, of Rolling Prairie, IN, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Miller's Health and Rehab.
He was born on August 31, 1943, in La Porte, IN, to Henry "Hank" and Ada Roth.
Jon is surviving by his daughter, Jenny Roth; nieces, Michelle Arriaga and Debbie Rother; sister-in-law, Marti Roth; trusted friends, Suzi Tyburski, Ronda Wrede, Larry Smith, Joe Habaj, Jim, Johnna, Hannah, Emmaline and Amellia Klute, Allen Ament, Catherine Saylor, and Linda and Mark Manering; as well as beloved neighbors/friends, Jim and Amy Paarlburg and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry Roth.
Jon worked for many years as the owner of a cleaning service business. He was a huge fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears. Jon enjoyed watching sports, particularly IU. He was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous and attended the 12-step program at YANA Club. Jon enjoyed following the adventures of Louis Lá Mour and Clive Cussler books.
He will be fondly remembered by his treasured friends as a dependable, kind, flexible friend who could be counted on when needed. Jon's faithful friendship will be missed
