Gerald J. Lubiniecki, 83, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 4:45 p.m. at his home in Michigan City, Indiana.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 19, 2025, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1506 Washington Street, Michigan City, Indiana, with Rev. Walter Ciesla officiating. Private burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Friday at the church. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington Street, Michigan City, Indiana, is handling arrangements.
Gerald was born on August 17, 1942, in Michigan City, Indiana, to the late Joseph and Anna (Jasiniecki) Lubiniecki.
Surviving are his brother, Richard Lubiniecki of Michigan City, Indiana, and his sister, Linda Bruemmer of Michigan City, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Angeline Richmond,
Louise White, Marcella Lubiniecki, and Barbara Casteel; and two brothers, Jimmy Lubiniecki and Ike Lubiniecki.
Gerald graduated from Purdue University in 1968 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He worked for several different companies throughout his career in the accounting field and retired in 2010 from the Westville Correctional Facility. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and Moose Family Center 980.
Gerald enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, spending time with his cats, and listening to classical music. He could often be found strolling the aisles of Menards or enjoying time at the Blue Chip Casino.
