Deanna Leigh Hudock, 41, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, November 21, 2025, at 11:08 a.m. at her home in Michigan City, IN.
Private family services will be held at a later date in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana, is handling arrangements.
She was born April 16, 1984, in Michigan City, IN, to James F. Hudock and Connie E. Jasniewski, both of Michigan City, IN. She married Roger Broering, who survives in Michigan City, IN.
Also surviving are two stepdaughters, Samantha (Gage Waldo) Broering, and Tabitha Broering, and a step-grandchild, Ethan Waldo.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, George and Sarah (Inglis) Hudock, and her maternal grandparents, John and Agnes Jasniewski. Deanna graduated from Purdue University, West Lafayette campus, in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Asian Studies. She had a deep passion for Asian culture. She later went on to pursue her other passion, animals, when she took on a role as clerical staff for the Michiana Humane Society. Deanna enjoyed playing video games, watching anime, and spending time with her cats. She was especially fond of her cat, Cubby.
