Juan Carlos Parras, January 11, 1983-October 21, 2025.

It is with profound grief and sadness that the family of Juan Carlos Parras, age 42, announces his passing on October 21, 2025, at Community Hospital in Munster, Indiana, following a severe brain hemorrhage.

Juan was born on January 11, 1983, in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico, to Maria Del Rosario.

Juan Carlos was a devoted husband, father, and son. He worked as a pavement marking technician at Pro Drive Asphalt Maintenance for many years. 

Outside of his work life, Juan’s family was his greatest joy. He enjoyed spending his free time playing with his children and enjoying time with his family. Juan also loved watching sports, laughing at Spanish comedy shows, fixing up his home, and cooking alongside his beloved wife. He was the loving and humorous heart of the Parras household and will always be remembered as such.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Adela Uribe (45), and their children: Juan Carlos Parras Jr. (22), Brian Parras (21), Lisette Parras (19), Maria Parras (17), Brandon Parras (6), and Ariana Parras (4). He is also survived by his mother, Maria Del Rosario (58).

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN, where the family will receive friends on October 31st from 4 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home, with a rosary service at 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday, November 1, at 11 am at St Joseph Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.
