Dara Cay Booth, 70, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 24, 2025, in her home.

She was born on September 6, 1955, in Mishawaka to Donald and Agnes (Harrington) Tam.

Dara loved doing puzzles, traveling, watching nature documentaries, and spending time with her family. She was a big fan of Betty Boop and left behind her beloved cat, Sophia. Dara was greatly loved and will be truly missed.

On July 5, 1996, in Homosassa, Florida, she married Wetzel Booth, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Timothy) Conn; son, Michael (Amy) Marvel; three brothers, Donald, David, and Doug; two sisters, Dolly and Deidre; seven grandchildren, Kaylee, Jonathon, Emily, Alex, Catie, Carter, Callie; and her lifelong best friend, Elena Seals.

Dara was preceded in death by her parents.

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, (219)362-3333. Cremation has been selected.
