Frances Jane Dierdorf, March 12, 1945 - October 13, 2025.
Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Frances Jane Dierdorf, 80, Trail Creek, Indiana, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.
She was born March 12, 1945, in Sullivan, Indiana, to the late Francis and Ellen (Bedwell) Drummond. On October 23, 1972, she was married to James E. Dierdorf.  Together, they raised a blended family, lovingly referred to as "his, mine, and ours". They enjoyed traveling together, especially by motorcycle, until Jim passed away in 2008.
Faith and family were her anchors through life's many challenges. She enjoyed gardening, canning, coloring, and reading.  She was the source of love and warmth to everyone who knew her.  Her laugh was contagious, her hugs all-encompassing.
Surviving are her children, Bruce Dierdorf, Roxanne (Eric) Maines, James (Laura) Dierdorf, Mike Dierdorf, and Kim (Ed) Nolan; grandchildren, Johnathon Barker, Joshua Barker, and Jillanne Barker; great-grandchildren, Abel Barker, and Elsie Barker; sister, Judith Wright; along with nieces, nephews, and her beloved dog, Loretta.

She was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Theresa Dierdorf, and a nephew, Mark Allen Pscion.
