Donna Lynn Collins, 65, La Porte, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 8:25 a.m. in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 17, 2025, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 818 Franklin St., Michigan City, IN, with Pastor Mark Reshan officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the church. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN, is handling arrangements.
She was born on May 20, 1960, in Michigan City, Indiana, to the late Donald and Shirley (Hendricks) Wiseman. On January 14, 1984, in Michigan City, Indiana, she married Richard "Dick" Collins, who survives in La Porte, Indiana.
Also surviving are her three children, Shayla Collins of La Porte, Indiana, Shaun (Stephanie) Collins of South Carolina, and Scott Collins of La Porte, Indiana; step-daughter, Kellie Armstrong of California; one brother, Brian (Debbie) Wiseman of Michigan City, Indiana; six grandchildren, Sadie, Emma, Logan, Joey, Braelen, and Dion; three great-grandchildren, Daylen, Tamaya, and Caleb; and many nieces and nephews.
Donna was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Michigan City. She enjoyed being a mom and grandmother the most. Even with some of her physical challenges with multiple sclerosis, she made a point to be involved in vacations, family events, and gatherings. Donna was a passionate animal lover. She will be deeply missed by her family.
