Jon Claire Louis Hogan, November 9, 1957 - September 27, 2025.

Jon Claire Louis Hogan, 68, of La Porte, passed away peacefully at 2:22 p.m., Saturday, September 27, 2025, at his home in La Porte.

He was born on November 9, 1957, in La Porte to Robert Eugene and Shirley (Reinoldt) Hogan.

Jon adored and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed watching sports games and was a lover of animals. Jon was greatly loved by all who knew him and will be truly missed. 

He is survived by his daughter, Julie Kmak; his sister, Karen (Ed) Gerke; his brother, Kevin (Jeanne) Hogan; three granddaughters, Hailey, Emiley, and Abigail; and his wonderful neighbors, Carol and Jerry.

Jon was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Bruce Hogan.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, (219) 362-3333. Cremation has been selected.
