Frank A. Field, Jr., 92, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 10:00 pm in Life Care Center of Michigan City. 
Private family services will be conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN, is handling arrangements.
He was born on August 29, 1933, in Michigan City, IN, to the late Frank A. and Meta (Oglesby) Field, Sr.
Surviving are his granddaughter, Shawna Ross of La Porte, IN; great-grandson, Aidan Ross of La Porte, IN; niece, Melissa (Chuck) Czizek of Michigan City, IN; nephew, Howard Smith of La Porte, IN; and great-niece, Hannah Smith of La Porte, IN.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Clark, and sister, Marilyn Smith.
He had worked as a security guard at Jaymar Ruby and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Frank was a member of Michigan City Christian Church and the Michigan City Senior Center. He was an artist who enjoyed traveling, reading, fishing, and also loved animals.
