Kristina Kay Murray, 69, of La Porte, passed away at 9:11 p.m..Saturday, August 30, 2025, at her home.

She was born April 27, 1956, in Michigan to Polian Hardesty and Rosalie (Ott) Smith.

Kristina loved people and was a very social person, and especially enjoyed playing pool.  She was also an avid cat lover. Kristina worked at Walmart in La Porte and retired after 28 years.

She is survived by her children, Dustin (Patricia) Murray and Traci (Bryan) Gaddis; siblings, Bruce (April) Smith, Rhonda Smith, and Judy Ott; and grandchildren, Jack Beals, Brylie Gaddis, and Tenlie Gaddis.

Kristina was preceded in death by her brother, Brett Smith.

Cremation will take place.  Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte (219) 362-3100, is caring for the arrangements.
