Richard W. Stark, January 15, 1927 - September 8, 2025.
Richard W. Stark, 98, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Monday, September 8, 2025, at 8:00 am in his home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1506 Washington Street, Michigan City, IN, with  Rev. Walter Ciesla officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery with Full Military Services. 
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Monday, and from 8:30 am - 9:30 am Tuesday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN.
He was born January 15, 1927, in Michigan City, IN.
Surviving are his grandson, Benjamin Stark of Valparaiso, IN; granddaughter, Rynae (Cody) Miller of Kokomo, IN; and three great-grandchildren, Harper Miller, Franklin Stark, and Evelyn Stark.
He was preceded in death by Father, Lino Stark; mother, Martha Gondek; wife, Dorothy Stark; son, Leonard Stark; and stepfather, Anthony Gondek.
Richard retired after 42 years as the billing department supervisor of the accounting department of Joy Manufacturing, and he was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church,  American Legion Skwiat Post 451, and a life member of the St. Joseph Young Men's Society.
