Robert Allen Dobrowolski, 49, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025, at his home.

Robert was born on September 22, 1975, in Valparaiso, Indiana, to Robert J. Dobrowolski of La Porte and the late Susan (Smith) Dobrowolski. 

Robert had worked with AJ Plastic, Dwyer Instruments, and the Knute Rockne Toll Plaza in Rolling Prairie.  

Robert is survived by his father, daughters, Amber Nieves of Indianapolis, Jessica Dobrowolski of La Porte, and a son, Scott Skinner of Tennessee; grandchildren, Sophia & Wyatt; and sisters, Tosha Teadt of La Porte & Victoria Bentley of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his mother and a nephew, Robert Garner.

Robert loved fishing and working on vehicles. His children and grandchildren were his everything. Family and friends also held a special place in Robert’s heart.

A Celebration of Robert’s Life will be held at 1 PM Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Park at La Porte Village, 1083 E. State Road 2, La Porte, Indiana.  

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L.Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in La Porte.
