Ann Hryniewiecki, 72, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 5:14 am in Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge, IL.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 30, 2025, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1506 Washington Street, Michigan City, Indiana with Rev. Walter Ciesla officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:15 pm - 1:00 pm, Saturday at the church. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana, is handling arrangements.
She was born February 5, 1953, in Poland to the late Stanley and Karolina (Protas) Poplawski. Ann grew up in Michigan City, Indiana, and
later made her home in the Chicago area.
Surviving are two sons, Matthew (Persa) Hryniewiecki and Paul (Joanna) Hryniewiecki; six grandchildren, Jasmine, Joseph, Julianne, Alexander, Maximilian, and Hannah; and her brother, Sylvester (Ryszarda) Poplawski.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ted Poplawski, Sr.
