Jacqueline K. "Jackie" Palombizio, 83, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 8:45 pm in VNA Hospice Center, Valparaiso, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am, Saturday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana. 
She was born January 7, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late George E. and Florence (Nelsen) Meilner. On November 25, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois, she married Daniel H. Palombizio, who preceded her in death on July 27, 2023.
Surviving are daughter, Marlyne (Dirk); three sons, Danny (Cheryl), Michael (Jennifer), and Todd (Robin); seven grandchildren, Daniel, Morgan (Q), Jacqueline, Austin (Katherine), Jeffrey, Christopher (Kaila), Kyron; two great-grandsons, Jett and Roman; brother-in-law, Ralph (Joanne) Palombizio.  

She was preceded in death by a sister, Marlene Campisi.
Jackie was a strong, loving, and warm person who loved her family more than anything.  Her four children were everything to her, and she supported them and her seven grandchildren, along with her two great-grandsons, through all of their life events, especially sports. 
She touched the lives of any person who entered her life, leaving a lasting impact with her warm smile and generous heart. She will be
deeply missed and will be reunited with her husband, Dan, in heaven.
