Valinda Marie Ebersole Westman was born on August 25, 1945, to Ransom and Beatrice Ebersole in Cincinnati, Ohio.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen Westman, and her children, Sherry Pomeroy and Stephen Westman II. She is also survived by Ransom Eugene Ebersole, her brother, and Judy Esther Cox, her sister.

She completed her walk to becoming Jewish on February 27th, 2002, in Overland Park, KS. She was a member of the Jewish community at Temple Israel in Valparaiso, Indiana.

She leaves a legacy of love and honor to all who knew her.
