Angela Christine Lykins, 48, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025, in a family home in La Porte, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN, with Pastor Joe Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in Rolling Prairie Cemetery, Rolling Prairie, Indiana. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 18, 2025, and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
She was born on September 27, 1976, in La Porte, Indiana, to James "Jim" and Jeannie (Probst) Lynch. On March 28, 1998, in Michigan City, Indiana, she married Robert "Dean" Lykins, who survives in Michigan City.
Also surviving are her two sons, Robert Lykins III, and Cameron Lynch (12 years old), both of Michigan City, Indiana; three siblings, Jerry Lynch, Melissa Richmond, and Jeff Lynch, all of La Porte, Indiana; three grandchildren, Robert Lykins IV, Alaina Lykins, and Avery Lykins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jeannie Lynch, and two brothers, James and Mark Lynch.
Angela was last employed by Caddo Connections, and previously was a house cleaner for Finishing Touch. She was a member of Harvest Time Church of God, La Porte. When Angela was younger, she enjoyed going skating with her brothers at the old roller rink in La Porte. She also cherished watching her sons play baseball and taking camping trips with her husband, Dean. Angela enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
