Alan Dale Hutson, February 12, 1951 – August 5, 2025. 

Alan Dale Hutson, 74, of La Porte, passed away peacefully at 4:44 p.m., Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at his home.

He was born February 12, 1951, in Michigan City, to Glen W. and Rosalie (Haack) Hutson.

On August 13, 2005, in La Porte, he married Riam Nothaisong, who survives.

Alan dedicated many years of his working career to several employers, including Clark Equipment, Hutson Builders, and Weil-McLain, where he retired in 2017 after over 30 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Riam Hutson; a son from a previous marriage, Jason Hutson; two brothers, Gene Glen and Wade Walter; a sister, Lynn Louise; a grandson, Spencer Hutson; several nieces and nephews, friends, and loved ones.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Rosalie Hutson; brothers, Dale Lee, Todd Paul, and Gary Daniel Hutson; and sisters, Judy Rose (Hutson) Wisemore and Lisa Rae (Hutson) Lepard.

Cremation will take place. Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte, (219) 362-3100 is caring for the arrangements.  A celebration of life gathering will be held at the DAV on Ohio St. in Michigan City, on August 16, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.
