Jeffrey Joseph Parsons, 64, of La Porte, IN, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025.
Jeffrey was born on October 24, 1960, in La Porte, IN, to Woodrow and Dorothy (Jackson) Parsons.
On April 19, 1985, in La Porte, IN, he married Laurie Steigely, who survives. Also surviving are his 2 children, Tiffany Parsons of Rockville, MD and Michael Parsons of La Porte; 3 grandchildren, Autumn and Liam Vermette of Stillwell and Logan Yu of Rockville, MD; mother, Dorothy "Jo" Parsons of La Porte; sisters, LeaAnn (John) Heims of Walkerton and Jennifer (Tim) Burton of Knox; brother, Steve (Judy) Parsons of Westville; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Parsons.
Jeffrey worked as a machinist for many years. He enjoyed fishing and listening to music. Jeffrey was a Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A private family service will take place at a later date.
