Gerald Lee Felton Sr., 92, of La Porte, IN, peacefully passed away on July 3, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his family.
Gerald was born on November 16, 1932, in La Porte, IN, to Fredrick and Myrtle (Weller) Felten.
On September 5, 1959, in La Porte, IN, he married Priscilla Dixon, who preceded him in death on November 9, 2018.

Gerald is survived by his 5 children, Cathy (Duane) Grostefon of La Porte, Vicky (Dan) Keehn of La Porte, Gerald "Jerry" (Allison) Felton Jr. of Rockford, IL, Carol Krcilek of La Porte, and Tara (Leon) Herm of Edgewood, KY; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 2 sisters, 1 grandson, and 1 great-grandson.
Gerald was a dairy farmer who felt his time working on the farm was always his time alone with God. He was a charter member of the Stillwell Volunteer Fire Department and a past member of the Stillwell Lions Club. Gerald dearly loved his family and particularly enjoyed watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren play. He always said that his children and their families were his legacy.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor JoEllyn Chadwick officiating. Burial will follow at Patton Cemetery.
A time of visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
