Kelli Ann Hicks, 51, of Michigan City, IN, tragically passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025, in TN, doing something she truly loved.
Kelli was born on October 4, 1973, in New Carlisle, IN, to Gerald and Judy Hicks.
On September 14, 2024, she married James "Jim" Stanley, who survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Hanna Martinez of New Carlisle; parents, Gerald (Judy) Hicks of Hudson Lake; sister, Shelly Hicks of Mishawaka; and dogs, A.J. and Sadie.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Charlotte Bealor.
Kelli was an RN for many years at Brickyard Healthcare-La Porte Care Center, where she loved working with her daughter, Hanna. She enjoyed working in the yard, visiting the beach while enjoying a margarita, as well as riding on the back of a motorcycle. Not understood by her family, Kelli dearly loved her car, which she affectionately named "Honda Rhonda".
Cremation has taken place in TN. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
