Janna Kristen Price, May 25, 1963-May 30, 2025. 

Janna Kristen Price, 62, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Friday, May 30, 2025, at Northwest Health-La Porte, IN.

She was born May 25, 1963, in Hammond, IN, the daughter of Howard Wikoren and Ladean (Cochran) Wikoren, both of whom preceded her in death.

A lifelong resident of the area, Janna graduated from Westville High, class of 1981. She attended Westville United Methodist church, where, on February 11, 2010, she married Donald Price. Janna worked for a while as a cashier at Kabelin's hardware. She was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star, loved to plant flowers and cook, and frequently hosted family gatherings.  For fun, she played games on her iPad and, along with Donald, enjoyed playing cards and dice.

Along with her husband of 15 years, Janna is survived by her step-son, Christopher (Tiffany) Price; her step-daughter, Malinda (Keith) Berry; three brothers, Kim (Janice) Buchanan, Gary (Becky) Buchanan, Bill Buchanan; two sisters, Joellen Mick, Jelaine Horton; six grandchildren, Haley, Faith, Landon, David, Roger and Jamison and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN, where the family will receive friends for a viewing on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 3:00.  Cremation will take place.
