Michael E. Belzowski, Jr., 76 of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025. He was born in La Porte on July 27, 1948, to the late Michael and Wanda (Elzbieciak) Belzowski.

On December 4, 2001, Mike married Darla Mann, who survives. Mike is also survived by his children, Michael (Nora) Belzowski of La Porte, Michelle (Jason) Danks of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Melissa Wiatrowski of La Porte; grandchildren, Taylor Belzowski, Caden Wiatrowski, Madison Wiatrowski, Mira Belzowski, Eziekel Belzowski; a goddaughter, Kristin (Justin) Sams; god grandchildren, Kaylee, Keegan, and MacKinzie Sams.

Mike was the owner of Mike’s Small Engine Service and a mechanic for over 60 years. He served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the VFW Post 1130 in La Porte. He enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting.

He loved Al’s chicken! Mike was an Allis-Chalmers and Simplicity tractor collector and member of the Allis-Chalmers club in La Porte.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the services at the Funeral Home. Deacon Bob Wellinski will officiate.

Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery with Military Honors.
