Michael L. Adams Jr., 53, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 6:23 pm in Michigan City, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm -7:00 pm, Monday, May 5, 2025, at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana 46360.
He was born January 16, 1972, in Chicago, IL, to the late Michael L. Adams and Norma J. Godlewski.
Surviving are two sisters, Lisa (Nathan O'Malley ) Adams of Michigan City, IN, Kristine (Michael) Ryan of Plainfield, IL; brother, James E. (Cindy Wright) Adams of Crete, IL; Aunt Mar; Uncle Mike; six nieces, Alyssa (Brandon) Sircher, Olivia, Stephanie, Heather, Rebekah, Faith; two nephews, Nathan, Ryan; great-nephew, Justin; great-niece, Ellie.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents.
Michael worked most of his life in various restaurants as a cook. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and loved watching sports. He enjoyed listening to music and playing his guitar. Michael was extremely sociable and loved engaging in conversations with people. He especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews, and friends. His friends were like family to him.
In honor of Michael, the family has requested that those attending the visitation on Monday, May 5, 2025, wear Chicago Cubs clothing to show your love and support to the family.
