MaCayla Rose Boone, 22, of La Porte, IN, tragically passed away on April 15, 2025.

She was born on December 5, 2002, in Valparaiso, IN, to Johnny and Christina (Levenduski) Boone.

MaCayla is survived by her parents, Johnny and Christina Boone of La Porte; sisters, Chantel and Emma Boone, both of La Porte; grandmothers, Thelma Boone of La Porte, Doris Levenduski of La Porte, and Evelyn Levenduski of Marengo; many dearly loved, handpicked siblings; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other loving family members.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Johnny Boone Sr. and Dale Levenduski.

MaCayla was a server at Hooters and loved her job interacting with the public.  She enjoyed playing softball and attending festivals.  Most importantly, MaCayla enjoyed time with her friends.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 2 - 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Cremation will take place following the service.
