Pamela A. Ludington, 64, from Michigan City, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 2:51 p.m. in Memorial Hospital of South Bend.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 21, 2025, at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN, with Pastor Kurt Feneley officiating. Burial will follow in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens, Michigan City. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral chapel.
She was born on September 12, 1960, in Michigan City, Indiana, to James "Jim" and Mary (Eckert) Cavin. On July 21, 1979, in Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, Michigan City, Indiana, she married Daniel Paul Ludington, who survives in Michigan City, Indiana.
Also surviving is her daughter, Kara (Justin) Pahl of Michigan City, Indiana; one grandchild, Miles Pahl; mother, Mary Cavin of Michigan City, Indiana; one sister, Jenny (John) Goodloe of Michigan City, Indiana; brother-in-law, Richard (Sue) Ludington of Delphi, Indiana; four sisters-in-law, Linda Ludington of Michigan City, Indiana, Janet (Eugene) Howard of St. Augustine, Florida, Meg (Rollie) Parsons of La Porte, Indiana, and Lori Ludington of Michigan City, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, James "Jim" Cavin.
Pam was a bartender at the American Legion Post 37, where she was a member of the women's auxiliary. She was also a member of Moose Family Center 980, Michigan City. Pam's most enjoyable pastime consisted of playing darts, sharing laughter with friends and family, and cherishing time with her beloved grandson.
