Carolyn Marie Kibby, 55, of South Bend, IN, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025.

Carolyn was born on March 20, 1970, in Michigan City, IN, to Harold and Emma (Kroening) Schultz.

Surviving Carolyn are her 3 children, Payton (Jesse Sugden) Kibby of Mattawan, MI, John Kibby III of New Carlisle, and Riley Kibby of Michigan City; stepdaughter, Kristen (Vince) Collins of Wheatfield: sister, SuAnn (Jack) Stark of La Porte; brothers, Brian, David, John (Jill), Paul (Amy), and Bud (Yvette) Schultz, all of Michigan City; parents, Harold and Emma Schultz of La Porte; fiancé, Ron Lard of South Bend; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her uncle, John Carroll.

Carolyn was a maintenance worker for a local rental property.  She enjoyed gardening, collecting bird items, and completing renovations.  Most importantly, Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her family. 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
