Tamara Ann Novak, 57, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 7:13 am in Franciscan Health - Michigan City, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN. Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Saturday, at the funeral chapel.
She was born June 30, 1967, in Michigan City, Indiana, to the late John and Patricia (Dickerhoff) Novak.
Surviving are life partner, Benny Taylor of Michigan City, IN; three children, Robbie (Katie) Novak of Michigan City, IN, Joann (Jon Tharp) Cooper of Michigan City, IN, and Josh (Amanda Cashwell) McCoy of New Troy, MI; step-son, David (Tiffany) Taylor of Michigan City, IN; sister, Lisa Novak of Michigan City, IN; brother, Paul (Lucy Altman) Novak of Montpelier, IN; eight grandchildren, Benjamin Novak, Haley Tharp, Avery McCoy, Ian McCoy, Alexis Taylor, Adam Willie, Bryson Taylor, and Graci Jones; great grandson, Bryson "Bam" Mequia; honorary grandchild, Miles "George" Pahl; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both her parents; sister, Kathryn Hansen; step-son, Buddy Taylor.
Tamara had an extreme passion for Chicago Cubs baseball. She enjoyed playing golf and liked to play barefoot, it was most comfortable for her. Tamara enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially in the pool with her grandchildren.
