Clara A. Sischo, 98, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 7:45 am in Addison Pointe Health & Rehabilitation Center, Chesterton, IN.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at
Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am -11:00 am, Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
She was born April 21, 1926, in Michigan City, IN, to the late Joseph and Helen (Hanyzewski) Piotrowski.
Surviving are daughter, Theresa Chaddock of Beverly Shores, IN; four sons, Robert (Barb) Sischo of Hamlet, IN, Kenneth Sischo of Michigan City, IN, Tom (Jane) Sischo of La Vergne, TN and Michael Sischo of Nashville, TN; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; and many cherished nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Piotrowski; her mother, Helen Piotrowski; husband, Grover Sischo; daughter, Charmaine Gardner; two sons, Timothy and Richard Sischo; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; and 4 sisters.
Clara had worked as a riveter/welder at Pullman Standard. She was a devoted mother until the end.
