Eugene E. Pavlack, 79, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 6:25 am in Ignite Medical Resort, Chesterton, IN.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, February 27, 2025, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1506 Washington Street, Michigan City, IN, with Rev. Walter Ciesla officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Thursday at the church. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.
He was born October 27, 1945, in Michigan City, IN, to the late John and Rose (Topa) Pavlack. In Michigan City, IN, he married Diana Havens who preceded him on March 22, 2023.
Surviving are six sons, Edward (Debbie) Pavlack of Westville, IN, Michael Pavlack of Michigan City, IN, Marshel (Roxanne) Pavlack of Michigan City, IN, Bradley (Tabitha) Pavlack of Las Vegas, NV, Quenton Pavlack of Michigan City, IN, and Nathan (Jennifer) Pavlack of Michigan City, IN; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Janice Schumaker of Michigan City, IN; and his brother, Terry (Barbara) Pavlack of Indianapolis, IN.
He was also preceded in death by two infant sons, David and Phillip Pavlack; and his brother, Jack Pavlack.
He retired as an electrician at Bethlehem Steel and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Eugene was a member of the American Legion John Franklin Miller Post 37 and enjoyed gardening, and die-cast car collecting and he was an avid Elvis fan.
