Jo-Ann "Jo" Theresa Trapp, 82, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Center for Hospice Care in Mishawaka.
Jo-Ann was born on February 25, 1942, in Chicago, IL, to Stanley and Francis (Button) Pulaski.
On September 10, 1960, she married Charles Edward Trapp who survives. Also surviving are her sons, Mark (Juli) Trapp of La Porte and David (Nancy) Trapp of Indianapolis; one granddaughter, Courtney Trapp of La Porte; sister, June Vitko of Florida; and special nieces, Jackie Nolan, Jenny Yergeau, and Shelly Pulaski.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joyce Bradley; and brother, Jim Pulaski.
Jo worked for many years in retail at Lerners, Hebron Water Department, Patz Grocery, Sears, and Sears Home Life. She also enjoyed working with her family at Monroe Collectibles. Jo loved church Bible study, teaching Sunday School, and especially loved talking with anyone she met.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at La Porte Missionary Church with Pastor Carl Galloway officiating.
A time of visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service on Sunday at the church. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
