Darlene Dorothy Bull, September 4, 1951-January 18, 2025.

Darlene Dorothy Bull, 73, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Brickyard Terrace Care Center in La Porte, IN.

She was born September 4, 1951, in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of William A. Bull and Dorothy M. (Dahl) Bull, both of who preceded her in death.

A lifelong resident of the area, Darlene graduated from the Centennial Class of La Porte High School, demonstrating her strong academic abilities and dedication to her studies. She further pursued her education at Manchester College and the Reese School of Business, where she honed her skills and expanded her knowledge in ways that would serve her throughout her life. A person of remarkable character, Darlene was active in various community organizations. She was a member of the National Honor Society. Her passion for history led her to be involved with the Daughters of the American Revolution, where she shared her pride in her ancestry and contributed to the promotion of American ideals. Furthermore, as a member of the La Porte Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star #280, she found joy in fellowship and community service, embodying the values of charity and support for others.

She is survived by several cousins. 

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. A private burial will take place. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the dedicated staff at Brickyard Terrance Care Center for their compassionate care during Darlene's final days, and a special thank you to Stefanie who lovingly called her "Buddy".
