Nicole Faith Janas, 46 of La Porte, Indiana passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025.

She was born on August 12, 1978, in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Richard Nekvasil and Linda (Grafford) Nekvasil of Galien, Michigan.

Nicole had worked in retail sales.

On October 23, 1998, Nicole married Casimir “Chuck” Janas who survives with their children, Tyler Janas of Michigan City, Allie Janas of La Porte, Cassie (Colin) Hanrath of Michigan City, and John Janas of La Porte; and her siblings, Becky Nekvasil (Deceased), Deb (Wendell) Ford of Michigan City, Dawn (Lee) Schelling of Michigan City, and Tami (Jeffery, Deceased) Kendall of Galien, Michigan.

A celebration of Life will take place from 1 PM to 4 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.
