Madeline Stacy, 82, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

Madeline was born on January 13, 1942, in Jackson, Kentucky to Woodrow Ritchie and Laura (Prater). She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her children, Dorthy (Sam) Arentt of Salyersville, Kentucky, Sheila (Ken) Symons of La Porte; Ellis (Glenda) Stacy Jr. of Knox, Indiana; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and siblings, Marcella (Linvill) Hopper, America McCarty, Naomi Tharp, Donna Keith, Ordway, Maynard, Kelly, Carl, and Ray Ritchie.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Victoria Jewell.

Burial will take place at Caleb-May Cemetery in Salyersville, Kentucky.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in La Porte.
