Diann "Donna" M. Edwards, 71, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 1:10 am in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm Friday, January 3, 2025, at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN. Private burial will take place in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
She was born on April 28, 1953, in Michigan City, IN, to the late Jozef and Irene (Leszczynska) Szalajko.
Surviving are a daughter, Shelly (Joel) Morefield of La Porte, IN; son, Brian (Rachel) Edwards of Adams, TN; three grandchildren, Charlotte, Eli, and Henry; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ella Voigt, and Sue Giesler; and three brothers, Michael Szalajko, Zeke Szalajko, and Edward Szalajko.
Donna had worked as an administrative clerk at Sullair. She enjoyed reading and being with her grandchildren.
